Our Story

Located at the banks of River Ganges and in the posh area of Kanpur Cantonments, River Bank School was established in the year 1966.

The school is spread across two acres of land with lush green surroundings and is endowed with natural beauty providing a healthy environment for the child to grow in. The Green campus which is the only one of its kind in this region has well maintained sprawling lawns and vast open spaces for indoor and outdoor activities.

The school offers its students a host of amenities which include big play fields, a basketball court, an arena for the child to perform and get a real on-stage experience which helps to eliminate the fear of public speaking. The school’s focus is a lot on practical learning rather than theoretical and the campus luckily aids in doing so. With a beautiful kitchen garden and fruit & flower bearing trees all around, the kids get to experience a touch and feel learning which in-turn makes them a tactile learner and promotes sensory input.

The classrooms are air-conditioned, well ventilated and get ample natural light which is a boon in itself.

The teaching programme is based on modern techniques, interactive teaching through smart classes, learning through subject related games and activities.
